Brady Wins Connemara Marathon And Big Runs In London

Michael Brady produced the performance of his career to win the Connemara marathon on Sunday in two hours 42 minutes and 30 seconds. Brady was nearly three minutes fast than second placed John Lee of Trim who posted 2:45.05. There was plenty of action on the roads this weekend at the Bear Group Wexford Half Marathon Darragh Brennan lead the Shamrock’s home in 84:53 followed by John O’Sullivan 97:22, Sorcha Delargy 1:40:39, Colm Keady 1:43:24, Carl Moore 1:46:45 and Jean Dunne 1:53:11. Brian Fay Competes In Diamond League

Brian Fay got his Diamond League season underway today finishing 12th in the 5,000m in Xiamen, China. Fay posted 13 minutes 14.97 seconds for 12th place. The race was won by Lamecha Girma in 12:58.96. Fay is entered in the Shanghai 5,000m which takes place on Saturday April 27.

Raheny Open Mile This Wednesday

The 2024 Raheny Open Mile takes place this Wednesday night April 24 at 8pm. The race is the final round of the 2023/24 Winter league and also doubles as a trial for the Raheny teams in the national road relays.
