Following on from the success of our senior athletes in the Odyssey and in the recent Inter Club Cross Country, many of our upcoming star athletes were competing in the Dublin Juvenile Indoor Championships over the past two weekends. As is becoming the norm for our juvenile athletes, medals were bagged in the various disciplines of our sport. A total of 18 individual medals were won – 6 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze, along with 3 golds in the relays, 2 silver and 2 bronze.

Meanwhile, many of our juvenile athletes were competing on behalf of their school Scoil Aine in the Dublin North Central/East Dublin City Council primary schools cross country today in St. Anne’s Park. Nicole Crowley won the 3rd class 300m race, Aine Osborne won the 4th class 400m, Anna Murphy finished 2nd in the 5th class 600m and Laura Cleary finished 3rd in the 6th class 800m. Scoil Aine girls won 3 of the 4 girl’s races. Well done to all our club juvenile members who took part.
